Well friends, there are many uber spiritual things I could share today.
Instead I just want to take a moment and hold the mirror up to the Blogging World.
Not that it is an unspiritual place of course.
Not in the least.
I have made an amazing discovery over the past year and a half
as I have come out of the closet and into an exciting,
invigoratingly alive fellowship, sisterhood, and family of writers
ready to embrace and encourage here in the Blogosphere!
To say that blogging has been a
life preserver
for me would be like saying Superman’s cape
was an outfit in Clarke Kent’s closet.
No, that is the understatement of the century.
Clarke Kent needed that getup to become Superman… to FLY!
That is what this sweet gift and endeavor has been for me.
Blogging was a life preserver that God truly gave me to keep
me from sinking into depression and self pity after the circumstances
which occurred in my life and career in 2011.
It is a place that has allowed me to discover my writing identity.
Out of the closet.
It has given me a chance to try out my writing wings.
To become more than a closet writer.
To trust His voice in me.
To share it as He wills.
My heart has never been more ignited.
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him,
who have been called according to his purpose.

I SO agree! Amen! It is a spiritual thing…God is using this forum to encourage, enlighten, and embolden us as we dare to bare our souls to the world and share the love of Christ with others in the process. We are not perfect writers or people…we are sojourners in the journey of life, learning from one another as we traverse this blogland together. Pure joy to me!!!

Amen, completely agree. Blogging has really saved me at times- where I can come and write my heart.

Amen. When my book died, I think I might have shriveled up into a woman twice my age without blogging(and that wouldn't have been a pretty sight, my friends!).
