Real Therapy

The best therapy I have ever experienced has come by the lone seaside stroll-
for You are there…
The ocean
 but a reminder
of the immensity of your grace,
the sand granules,
your mercies-
who can count?
The sky is the expanse of your love everlasting,
each stone a memorial to your handiwork-
crashing waves testify to your mighty power,
sun shining or hidden
reflects your
presence…
always-
and it’s right here in this place
that I so clearly see your face,
and am renewed and refreshed
in that still amazing grace.

  1. Hi Dawn! Oh yes, I love the beach too. Something about all those waves…seems like the reflection of eternity on earth. And I love the wind in my face and blowing my hair. It's like heaven.Beautiful verse today.Ceil

  2. Oh, I feel the same. There is something very therapeutic about being at the ocean shores. I especially like going to sleep to the sound of the ocean waves. When I look out at the ocean, I realize how small and insignificant I am….and how great HE is.

  4. Best kind of therapy if you can be in the heat. Seasonal changes now is perfect for therapy. You should have a code word, lest you will have a stigma. Even He cannot erase. Humans cannot hold water. Love your background and soundscapes
