OK, so this morning I was perusing my Blog Feed when I popped on over to Beverly’s’s Place who happens to be participating in the ICAD Challenge along with me and many others. Well she shared something called “Zentangle” which I decided to try. Since it was a rainy day here, in The Ocean State, I thought my girl could also join in as she has been doing the ICAD challenge with me, albeit at a more relaxed pace.
Well, let me tell you this ICAD challenge has been like a BLAST of Creative JUICE flowing through my veins! This week I have been having a blast but I had to share this fun therapeutic activity with all of my Followers, Bloggy, Writer and Artist (who already know all about this I bet!) friends…
Zentangle is basically glorified doodling! But even more fun and once you start it’s like the Lays Potato Chip of INDEX CARD art- You can’t stop at just one!
So go ahead, and doodle away!
I will share the individual photos in an upcoming ICAD Challenge Post!
(Sorry for the photo quality – this is a phone pic!)
These are so wonderful and when I have done this kind of doodling it usually began as boredom during a sermon or teaching and then morphed into a totally therapeutic activity!
