Well friends, in case you did not know, I am participating in my very first ICAD challenge.
What’s an ICAD challenge you wonder? Well a wonderfully artsy kinda gal named Tammy has a place called Daisy Yellow, and all these other artsy (and otherwise, like yours truly) peeps create a little piece of artwork daily for 61 days. All ages are welcome, and my girl has been creating a bit as well!
The cards are basic index cards in sizes 3X5 or 4X6 only. You can paint, draw, doodle, sketch, collage, scrapbook, scribble, dribble or whatever…and it leads to loads of creative juices flowing. And you even surprise yourself.
I am having fun and encouraging my daughter to join in at her own pace. She tends to be a bit more perfectionistic than I. Me I slap glue and paper together and squeal!
There are prompts but I have not used them yet (except the first card which was Zebra!) just because I have not had much computer time!
So here are the first 9 cards I made which I shared on the Facebook group page:
Here are the cards I created (individually)
Days 1-9:
Here is my initial post about it: Getting My Creativity On (ICAD 2013)
Oh FYI- you can jump in anytime – no need to catch up! Just great inspiration and who knew an index card could be so …artsy! Already loved them for my fave scriptures but this is a whole new realm of index card love for me!
I love the make time to have fun card! Too cute! Great cards!
