Beyond this moment.
Beyond the possibility, pain and potential of this current life.
Beyond the yesterdays, tomorrows and todays, lies more.
Somewhere beyond here,
there lies a place that longs for me
to long for it from within my heart.
Beyond deadlines, to do lists, and my goals.
Beyond all of these, Heaven’s promise dwells.
I linger in the possibility…hopeful.
I go on knowing, confident in this truth.
Oh my goodness–This is LOVELY!!I toyed with writing a poem – the word Beyond just seemed to easily lend itself to poetry. But, I knew with a time limit, I would be able to come up with something that would satisfy my harsher inner critic. My poetic voice is just recently being rekindled! So it just blessed my heart to read your poem!! *hug*Thank you!!

Hi Dawn,What a beautiful way of expressing the promise of Heaven! My hubby will be doing a Bible Study on Heaven in the Fall. He will be using Randy Alcorn's book. I'm so looking forward to it because I think too many of us, including many Christians, are too tied to this earth and don't realize what is waiting for us on the other side. We should be excited about it! Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful weekend.Blessings,Sandi
