Do you know the condition of your heart?
Have you ever considered it?
I am not talking about the physical health of your heart,
for we know that our lives
consist of more than the physical.
But I ask you to consider your heart.
Do you think you are able to judge the heart of another?
The LORD does not look at the things man looks at.
Man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.
1 Samuel 16:7
Are you aware of the reality that your heart is not to be trusted;
or do you believe the words whispered from the world with it’s empty promises?
I did.

But godliness with contentment is great gain.

Grateful: warmly or deeply appreciative of kindness or benefits received; thankful.
When we find our contentment in the Lord, we discover we have a grateful heart.
If you did not receive ONE more thing from God, one more blessing,
gift, provision, answered prayer-
Could you be satisfied?
Are you satisfied with Him?
Alone.
Alone.
I pray your answer is Yes.
He is enough.

My heart is buried in the needs of other people… so I OFTEN need to rest in Him, to turn my heart His direction. To rely upon Him as the everydayness tends to interfere with quietness and peace. BUT it does come to pass on a regular basis. For this I am very grateful.
