My Next Five To Read: Book Blogger Hop

As I waited (fortunately without holding my breath) for my daughter to join me for our reading time tonight (still waiting), I popped on by Ramona’s place: Create with Joy and was ecstatic to see this Book Blogger Hop (Hosted by Jen @ Crazy-For-Books:link below!) to participate in this weekend! The timing was perfect as I was just pondering how much I love my most recent reads and felt like sharing the love!

Well here is the way to jump in:
Answer the question below, write up a quick post, link-up and visit your fellow Book Bloggers!
What are the next five books in your TBR (to-be-read) pile? And, don’t worry, you can change your mind and read something different – we won’t check!

Book Blogger Hop
Whoohoo! Here is the slowest reader/reviewer’s
latest TBR list…

1. Grace of Giving by Marja Meijers:
Let me just say this…WOW! This sweet read has been on my nightstand ever so quietly waiting. I am amazed at the profound simplicity and depth that is so excellently put forth here. A rare gem-I picked it up and can hardly put it down. Halfway through and powerful.

2. Goodness Gracious Green by Judy Christie:
I am on the second in the Green Series and enjoying the Fiction escape as well as the escapades of Lois Barker as she embarks on the journey of a lifetime: inheriting a Newspaper in colorful, rural Green, Louisiana!

3. Heaven In Her Arms by Catherine Hickem
Why God Chose Mary to Raise His Son and What it Means for You

4. Bringing Up Girls by Dr. James Dobson

5. Praying For Your Prodigal Daughter
by Janet Thompson

Happy Reading!

  1. Hi Dawn, what a refreshingly beautiful and peacefeul blog you have. I like your book choices and although I have 3 sons, I need to read the Bringing Up Boys version of book 4. Grace of Giving sounds great with an important message. “Profound simplicity” is a great way to describe how I felt about the teachings of Morrie in Tuesdays with Morrie. I'm visiting you back from the Book Blogger Hop. Happy Sunday!

  2. So glad you found the Hop! I love your blog. The background is beautiful – I adore the beach. I picked up some of the Judy Christie books when they were free on Nook/Kindle within the last few weeks. Not sure when I will get to them – hopefully soon! Enjoy your reading! Thanks for linking up!Jen
