Random Journal Day Link Up 2

Take a look back in the journal pile and share an entry with us. You can take the entry and write it out, period. Or reflect further and share what was going on, insights, or how things look now compared to when you originally wrote the entry!
Oh, and if you are an artist and you just want to show your art journal, sketchbook, or notes and thoughts about the artwork, that is great. All forms of journals, diaries, blank book, prayer journals- where your thoughts, heart and reflective life have been expressed.
If you need some ideas, here are a few from our first link up to visit and see…

Here are the rules (I am a new fan of rules):

1. Dig out one of your old journals, or a recent journal or anything you have scratched out your random thoughts or feelings on as a form of expression (die-hard diary keepers will write on anything when desperate). Choose an entry, or a portion of an entry that you feel bold enough or at least comfortable to share.

2. Write up your blog post, publish and link up here.
Link up the blog post you are sharing, NOT your general Blog address- so we can visit your entry.
We don’t have a Badge for this Blog yet, but if you just link back to this in your post that will work. (Random Journal Day Weekend Link Up) If anyone wants to make us a BADGE we will welcome you as a co-host with us!

3. Kindly visit and comment on the person before or after you in the link up. You can visit more but we understand that everyone is busy. Please visit at least one other Random Journal Day Link Up as that just would make it nice for all.

*This Link will start on Friday and go through the week. Link up anytime before the next Friday (Thursday Midnight)!

  1. Hi Dawn! I'm Kathryn Ross of The Writer's Reverie commenting here on my husband's blogs, The Sheep's Pen (which I manage for him) to say thank you so much for your kind and encouraging comment and for introducing us to you here. Looks like we've both stepped into Blogland around the same time last year. So blessed with how God has used the new friends I've met in my life during a rather trying season of late. I'm fascinated with your new link-up here – I've quite a library of journals recounting the last 28 years of my walk. I will be joining you from my blog. Thanks for being such a grand inspiration!Joy!Ed and Kathryn Ross

  2. Hi again, Dawn – I'm commenting from my own blog – The Writer's Reverie. I'll have to dig some of my journals out this week and see what I come up with to share in a link-up sometime. Interesting concept.Joy!KathyP.S. You live in my old stomping grounds – lived in Portsmouth/Tiverton RI area from 1996-2003 – my son, daughter-in-law and grandbaby are in Fall River. Be up there end of August for a visit. Joy!
