Prompt 68: No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.~ Aesop
Open your journal to a fresh page, ready your pen, and consider your options… Journal about a time you did something completely unknown to anyone but the One who sees all. Write about the memory of it with as much detail as you can recall. Write about how you felt, what you were thinking, what specific time in your life it was and what meaning it had for you.
OR
Write about a time you did something kind for someone that seemed like nothing to you, but was met with great appreciation, alternatively write about a time that you went out of your way to do a kind act, which was not perceived as anything at all. Write in a journalistic fashion without judgement but “just the facts” as an observer if you can. See what you learn as you look at the incident from a distant perspective in time.
OR
Write about one of your favorite childhood fables, remembering how you perceived the story then. Enjoy remembering the way your perception has changed through the years, write a bit about the experience of reading, hearing or retelling the stories among other children as a child. Jot down bits of what you can remember, and see what comes up.
