Morning Meditation- A simple poem from morning journaling this week. May I suggest you journal a response ? If so, take five minutes and write about what jumps out at you in your own reflective moment. This piece was written during my morning quiet time Tuesday.
My One Word for 2020 is Remember, and I can’t help but think, as I reflect -how forgetful I am…we are, how often God speaks the word “Remember, and how prone we like the Israelites are prone to forgetfulness. Forgetting is the default of the whole human race! May you and I follow harder than ever in the faithful footsteps of the One who never forgets us. Amen.
Simple Math
I’m not good at
following formulas-
a series of do this and this
and this and this and get that.
But faith is my teacher.
Hope is my calling,
trust is my victory-
Jesus my destiny.
