A Poetic offering for the start of a new week. May it bless you today…wherever you are on your journey.

Bread

God said,

“Cast your bread upon the water.”

I did.

Some sank to the depths,
some was snatched up, eaten.

One small piece stayed on the surface.

I plucked the one crumb,
wet with possibility
and it became
a loaf.

I distributed to the few
willing to receive
the gift.

To my surprise
it multiplied
and grew,
nourishing many,
feeding the masses
of hungry.
