Poetry comes to me often as I: observe nature, meditate on Scripture, interact with others, work through my emotions and thoughts, ponder the big and small issues of life or when I am sitting still in the presence of Jesus. It almost always starts out in my journal, but any scrap of paper within reach will be used if need be.
