For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God. ~1 Peter 1:2
I am reading through the Gospel of Mark. During my quiet time this week as I read Chapter 4 in The Message by Eugene Peterson, I sensed the Spirit breathe life in the words anew.
I love when the Lord meets me in these moments between the pages of His life-giving Word. No matter what the day has in store for me, I know taking time to seek Him is never wasted time. He enriches it whether I sit for 10, 15, or 45 minutes. Is all I have to do is be willing to meet Him, sit at His feet. I listen, by reading, as He opens up Truth. Just like these masses.
How are you doing in your own times of seeking your Savior?
Are you spending time in Scripture Reading and Memorization, Daily Devotionals, Bible Study?
How is your prayer life?
Feel free to share your journey for better or worse as we seek to keep Him our #1 Focus!
Also, may I invite you to join me at 5 Minutes for Faith as I share 4 Prayers of faith-based on the Parable of the Sower.
I pray these prayers will bless and encourage you in your seeking Him today!

Thank you for this encouragement to be faithful in our quiet times…His Word is the seed, our hearts the soil… I appreciate the prayers you shared…I am using a prayer book, “Seeking God’s Face”, with O.T./N.T. scripture to meditate on, suggestions for prayer, one short written prayer and a daily blessing…it’s been helpful to me.
