Are you ready for a unique journaling opportunity? Could you use a kick in the pants, a jumpstart, or a gentle nudge for your writing life? I think I can manage all three of those for you! How about fifteen minutes to ruminate over a few focused prompts on love? These journaling prompts are not just your ordinary, ho-hum, candy hearts and cupid kisses prompts, but opportunities to pause, reflect, remember, and reimagine what love is and isn’t.
I’m calling this journey All the Love February, and we will kick off the journey on Sunday, February 1 (12:01 AM EST), and our first week is scheduled and ready to hit your inbox. Be sure you are signed up for emails here at Enthusiastically, Dawn. The posts will also be available on their own page: HERE.
What can you expect?
I’m so glad you asked! Each Sunday, the post will be set up with three main prompts meant to serve over the course of three days. So if you like to plan, you can schedule your 15 minutes as a journaling appointment with yourself. I suggest 20-30 minutes, though, to settle in, read, get your coffee/tea, etc. However, if you are a more opportunistic journaler who likes to be spontaneous as the day allows, then do so! You can fit the prompt into your current journaling practice, or use it to begin anew or start your first-ever journaling journey. Curtail the time frame to fit your week, day, life.
Alternatively, I like alternatives…lol. I am providing 2 simple additional prompts based on the image and a quote that is featured in case the 3 prompts offered are not your cup of tea (I doubt this will happen, but we have a plan for it, so you’re covered). You can use these as alternative journaling opportunities, or you can use them as additional ones. That’s up to you. Freedom to choose and respond as you feel led is the way we go here.
Each week, there is a special prompt called For the Brethren. I hope these specific prompts will be a challenge, encouragement, and edification to my brothers and sisters in Christ. These will include a specific scripture passage and/or a guided journaling opportunity.
Something to know– there is no catching up or making up. Just jump in when you find the opportunity. One of the reasons we are aiming for three prompts instead of seven is to leave you the room to succeed at building your journaling practice amidst your everyday, right-now busy life!
One more thing- You don’t need anything special for this journey, BUT if you are looking for a new special pen to use yourself or to gift, you can check out my post HERE for a great review and deal.
Can you fit 15 minutes for love, three days a week, in February?
I believe you can! Let’s write all the love in February, yes? Let me know if you have any questions. I hope to see you along the way!
Enthusiastically, Dawn
