Summer Journal Conclusion

The twenty-one days of journal prompts have concluded for our summer journaling/writing journey. I am wondering how you did, if you did, and which you did, if all or just a few?

The fact is Summer seems to fly by. It is short, sometimes sweet and here in New England-varied in what you will get weather wise. But memories are often made in the heat of the summer months.

Let’s Talk

I’ve listed the prompts here for you to check any you missed, or just see in overview. They are also available on the page here: SUMMER JOURNAL 2025 along with the explanation for the journaling journey.

The 21 Prompts:

Concluding Thoughts: YOURS! Did you have a favorite post? A least favorite? Did none of them work for you? Did all of them get you writing. Did you start strong, finish well or putter through? Write a bit about it in your journal, but also, if you want to share your thoughts in the comments below, I would love to hear, answer any questions, take requests for a future post.

IF YOU DID DO ALL 21 PROMPTS…

I have a fun and oh, so appropriate reward for those who finished this year’s Summer Journal– if you did all the prompts and would like to receive a postcard from Rhode Island – my gift of congratulations, from what happens top be an awesome summer vacation spot itself, just email me your snail mail address (dawn.paoletta@gmail.com). Please comment below FIRST if you would like a postcard then e-mail me so I make sure to connect all the dots! Thanks!

What’s Next?

I would consider a Planner Boot Camp for 2026. I have a couple of writing projects that need my attention, so Fall could be quiet on the blog. I need help getting the word out from those of you on social media, since I am no longer active on any SM platform (except GoodReads) If there is enough of a desire for Planner Bootcamp I may be ready to reboot the planner community and beyond. However, I am seeking God’s direction and focus for my writing, as always, as I want to see what He has to say, first and foremost.

There is plenty on this site now for all seasons of journaling and writing. If you find your feeling short on journaling time, try micro-journaling. It is what it sounds like. Capture a thought, memory or reflection in a few words or sentences. Always when time is short a few of daily gratitude’s written descriptively can be magical!

If you are looking to continue with similar type prompts beyond the blog, please buy my book Journaling for Discovery and Delight. If you have enjoyed the prompts and/or the book would you leave a review on Amazon or GoodReads? I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you!

What’s next for you this Summer and beyond?

Keep writing, my friends,

Enthusiastically, Dawn
