You are invited to discover the flexibility and freedom journaling offers through the simple tools of a notebook and pen- alongside- what I hope to be – are inviting, and simple writing prompts this Summer.
Connect with your creativity, curate a collection of captured moments & memories, cultivate a simple journaling practice or develop a deeper faith walk.
Each of these goals mentioned above is possible over the next two months.
Actually over the next 21 days! Better still- this is not an every day commitment. Because, Summer comes once a year, and we need to be filling our calendars with the good weather activities that only the sunshine season provides. However, this is also a time when journaling can keep us from getting a little too relaxed. Whether our devotional life gets left in the dust, or the results of too many party appetizers and too many lounge chairs slip us into a comfortable complacency. A journaling practice can keep us aware and help us get back on track or keep us from getting off the track at all!
The 21 Days are sprinkled over June and July in order to help you balance or integrate a journaling practice into your life. As in a what I like to describe as a journaling lifestyle. One that keeps you sensitive to yourself, God and others during life’s challenges AND joys!
A journaling practice gives you the place to spill onto the blank page and find clarity, vision and focus.
If you are here, I don’t need to tell you all the benefits of journaling. There are many. But the biggest gift journaling can give is a place to hear and know your own voice above the many competing voices you allow to speak into the place of your heart, mind, spirit and soul. My goal for you, dear reader, is that you are are able to UNPLUG as needed, and JOURNAL these next two months. My hope is that the inner-spirit of your hidden person will be refreshed, renewed and readied for all God’s good purposes and plans for your life. Are you with me?
All the prompt dates are listed HERE for your easy access. Once they go live they will be linked. The posts will be short (at least I will do my best in that regard- prayers welcome!) so you aren’t bogged down staring at the screen to long. The prompts will be simple, and as always have alternative possibilities. If you have any questions, leave a comment below.
I pray this series of posts will be a blessing to you and your journaling journey!
Please note- the first post will go live and be linked later today! I just wanted to share one last invite out for those who may not have heard the news yet!
Happy Journaling-
Enthusiastically, Dawn
