Join in and Journal with me!

I will be doing a live Journal prompt exercise on the 21 Days of Journaling Facebook Group Page tonight at 8 PM Eastern Time. It will remain there to do at your leisure afterwards. Also, no worries if you miss it, I will be aiming for a live Periscope at some point this week. Hoping to create a few shorter videos for You Tube as well…so many things to do, so short these days of Summer.

Enjoy the journey, friends!

Imagine you could choose one time in history to spend with God for one day (24 hours). It’s kind of like God your Father taking you, His kid, to work for the day. Where would you be in the continuum of time? What would you see and do? Are you with Him for Creation? Walking with Him and Adam in the Garden?  Are you the desert with Him and the Israelites? Or in the Chariot carrying Elijah? Do you hover with Him over the manger, or weep with Him at Gethsemane? What would you ask Him? What do you notice? What do you see?

Grab your Bible for this one.

Choose the time in History you would like to be with God. Ask Him to show you something you have not seen before, as you seek His perspective and heart.

Write about the time you spend 24 hours with God in History.

OR

Write a poem or prayer seeking God’s  perspective over a time or circumstance, concept or idea  in History that you struggle to understand, ie. The Holocaust, Hiroshima, Creation, World Hunger, anything that is a topic of burden, or stuckness for you in your faith perspective. Using Scripture and prayer, ask for God’s leading, share your struggle and see where it leads. Be ready to listen.

Be still and quiet, wait for His answers. Go where the prompt, His Word and His prompt leads!
