My Lord,

was not a positive thinker

as is popular today.

It rather sickens me when some assume

that Christianity is spelled :

s-u-c-c-e-s-s.

Rubbish!

You  are a fool

to believe,

A suffering servant

was thrashed, purple and red

so you can defile the bed

play the harlot,

live like you’re dead-

rummage and scour

for luxuries

to devour,

filling your belly and starving your soul.

Foolishness!

You strain at the flaws

of those

who have yet to be freed,

yet you, yourself

are consumed by greed-

and blind as a mole.

You think yourself wise,

by a worldly view-

but you must bend

quite lowly still

to  discover what is true.

Will you?

***

How long, Lord?

How Long?

Prepare the way for the Lord,

He is coming soon.

He is coming.

Soon.

Blessed Be the Name of The Lord.

Linking with dVerse for OLN. Which stands for Open Link Night…FYI! 😉

A great thought for Advent, even thought it’s still a couple of weeks away.
