Swirls of curls swim atop her head,
she is smooth curves
more than proper for her age
loved generously
yet longs to be
a waif
belonging to no one, nowhere
Heaven leaned to kissed her forhead,
in the darkness
of indigo night
one lone tear drop fell from the sky,
she doesn’t see
the profusion of stars,
she’s birthed.
Blinded,
beyond reason,
sees not her crimson beauty,
nor visits the lavender laced mornings
reserved only for lovers of dawn.
Perhaps she has just forgotten,
and like Spring she will awaken
anew
and recall
her tender years
the return of joy will bloom
bringing forth sweetness and she will be
refreshed from her slumber…
Renewed.
We will see her smile again.
It is our greatest hope.

i hope that she does find spring….and finds renewal…belonging to no one can be such a lonely place….it is def my hope to see her smile….again…
