He came that I might know
truth.
Have life.
Live love.
Overcome as He overcame
death.
He lives now
so that I can…
know how
to live today
and forever
I wish I could say I know all
but choose instead
to learn to know the One
who said:
*“I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live,
even though they die;
and whoever lives by believing in me will never die.
Do you believe this?”
so I die…
to my own selfish ambitions,
and trust
that if I crucify
the me in I
Somehow I live and never die,
because He lives, so do I.
simple,
grand,
a maddening plan,
I have my part
I take His hand-
I choose
life
by grace through faith,
I believe
I am
forgiven.
Amen.
