I am a slow reader with a serious stack!
So sad I missed “What’s On Your Nightstand” last month, so I decided to share this
delightful reading pile with my Wordless Wednesday, friends.
Because.
Books.
Are.
Friends, too.
Enter satisfying sigh here.
Books are the quietest and most constant of friends;
 they are the most accessible and wisest of counselors,
and the most patient of teachers.  ~Charles W. Eliot

I find television to be very educating.
Every time somebody turns on the set,
I go in the other room and read a book.  ~Groucho Marx

Books are not made for furniture,
but there is nothing else that so beautifully furnishes a house.
 ~Henry Ward Beecher
“You know you’ve read a good book when you turn the last
 page and feel a little as if you have lost a friend.”
Paul Sweeney
