You know well enough how the wind blows this way and that.
You hear it rustling through the trees,
but you have no idea where it comes from or where it’s headed next.
through the trees
of His promises
rustling, gentle swaying
dancing green leaves
displayed against grey-blue hues
shaking free from stillness
inviting me to join in the movement
of this new day
come play today,
all is joy
invisible Kingdom revealed to those children who hold the key
I hear His voice
in the trees…
yet His whispers
I hear clearly
I’m carried along

What a lovely and uplifting message ~ Thanks for sharing this ~
your poetry never ceases to amaze me. I loved the wind whispering in the trees…God whispers…He speaks love to me. Thank you.
Lovely and uplifting !
I love your poem! Its message reminds me of many of God's whispers to me over my posts this year too. An uplifting start to my morning! – Pam, Apples of Gold
What a wonderful poem, Dawn. Nice to meet you and thanks for stopping by my place at The Alabaster Jar!
Beautiful Dawn! You know how much I love trees and the way God speaks to us through them…perhaps what I'm hearing are his whispers through the breeze 🙂
yes trees are special
Such beautiful imagery… Bless You!http://theemptynestexpress.com
I love the focus on nature in this poem. I'm a big old Christian, husband is a pastor, but I rarely focus on the Gospel. If anything, I take people who are too narrowly focused on the Bible and cannot see what's beyond their blinders to task. This is a loving portrait of God's Creation. Also, we use The Message a lot at our church (United Church of Christ). Thanks for coming by my blog – I'll be back! Peace, Amyhttp://sharplittlepencil.com/2012/07/27/bleed-warning-precedes-poem/
