Here we are with our next Planner Review! I hope you are looking forward to having a look at this next planner as much as I am to share it. We are slowly and steadily looking at the finest Planners available in this 2024 Planner Reviews series. There are many planners available, but what makes each as unique as the person who created the planner itself is what I hope to bring you.
This next planner is beautifully made and has the simple, clean pages my creative heart loves to scribble, stick, and cover most! Let’s have a closer look, and see if this may be the right addition to your planner lineup for 2024.
I am so grateful to have found The Hope Planner created by Heather Vreeland. If you struggle to see Jesus amid your daily tasks and struggle to make time for your Bible reading, The Hope Planner Daily may be for you. There is also a Weekly version, but for this review, I will focus most on the Undated Daily 6 Month Planner which Heather graciously sent out for me to review.
This is a Spiral Bound Planner which is undated. The first few pages offer some basic instructions on optimal use. The monthly and daily pages start on Sunday. Each month is followed by five full weeks. Each month has a full page and a half for goals, projects, and lists. Each Sunday has a Devotion section which could be used to look back and forward with room for scripture, confession, praise, and prayers. Then a full page follows that. So there is room to work things out practically and prayerfully on these pages.
“Designed to be more than just a planner with Bible verses – the Hope Planner is a daily planner and prayer journal in one, a devotional planner that keeps you focused on the Word and while you’re trying to stay organized.”

On each Daily page, there is a health tracker, for water intake. I am terrible with water trackers or trackers in general- and terrible about water intake as well. I do love that this one is at the bottom of the page. I do love the way this planner prioritizes your perspective on your faith. The creator of this planner hopes this helps encourage intimacy with Jesus. Daily Bible Study is the meat and potatoes of this planner. Your To-Do list is second to your To Whom focus. I can certainly wrap around that goal! and focus.
I love the way the page really sets the focus of scripture right there alongside your plans. I also like that these daily writings are to be filled in and are not quotes already there (although the months do have a scripture already included). This needs to be user driven and it is. So often a verse or quote is put into a planner and I find I really don’t appreciate that as much as having the opportunity to choose. This can be a hit-or-miss thing in pr-printed planners. A definite strength and advantage by intentional design is encouraging and drawing the planner user back to scripture and focus on Christ. It’s like a discipleship planner!
I love the idea of having the space for a monthly prayer list. I currently keep a separate prayer journal, from my daily journaling and my planner but the idea of keeping practical life and spiritual life more connected is appealing. The reality is they are absolutely intermingled. But it is nice to have a place for just prayers and maybe praying through the plans of your day. I see myself using this planner more in that way, but for many people multiple planners are overwhelming and this might absolutely help simplify and pull together the fragments of daily duties, prayer life, Bible reading, and balancing the various other activities that fill the day.
Another great aspect of this planner is it is 6-month book which is a great way to see if this is a practical tool. The undated format also allows you to start and stop if need be without feeling like you have to ditch the planner because the dates are already intact. It offers the flexibility to grow into a new habit of planning, Bible reading, meditation, and prayer combined.
The planner comes with a gold foiled page marker and monthly stickers to add to the months as you use it or set it up.
