When You Need a Spiritual Reboot (Empowering Truths to Set Captives Free)

As Christians we are encouraged to count our blessings. Most of secular society agrees that focusing on what we have instead of what we don’t is a safe bet toward a better mind set. Medical Research supports thankfulness and an attitude of gratitude has physical and mental health benefits.

But what do you do when you find yourself slowly sinking into a murky swamp of apathy because of the circumstances of your life, regardless of how hard you try to keep your head above water-spiritually, or otherwise?

My Arrow and Aim for 2018

    This past first day of 2018, I sat with my freshly brewed coffee, open Bible, and journal pondering the year and pages before me.  I had already reconciled the fact that I felt no specific nudging toward a new word for 2018- I was ready to continue walking with my One Word for 2017 (Light)  into this new year. I also realized I was enjoying following the current scripture reading plan I was following, so no need to change that either. More

The Kingdom Unseen

In light of the day’s current darkness, I am called to  be a bearer of light…for my brethren weeping. My heart weeps with you.

 

May these words offer encouragement. May you know and believe the darkness will never extinguish the Light…
