My Arrow and Aim for 2018

This past first day of 2018, I sat with my freshly brewed coffee, open Bible, and journal pondering the year and pages before me.  I had already reconciled the fact that I felt no specific nudging toward a new word for 2018- I was ready to continue walking with my One Word for 2017 (Light)  into this new year. A poem from my Monday’s morning meditation…

Have a beautiful December!

May these words bless you today-

The Kingdom Unseen

In light of the day’s current darkness, I am called to  be a bearer of light…for my brethren weeping. My heart weeps with you.

May these words offer encouragement. May you know and believe the darkness will never extinguish the Light…

A morning meditation on Revelation 22, for my brethren.

Theological Deduction

The Spirit gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words I have spoken to you are spirit and they are life. However, there are some of you who do not believe.”

John 6:63-64

Without eternity

there is no reason  to smile,

and every reason

to be afraid.

Review of NIV Holy Bible for Girls, Journal Edition

I have not been choosing to do Book Reviews for awhile now, but recently Julie, at Handlebar, reached out to me about reviewing My Holy Bible for Girls, Journal Edition.

Since the Bible is my main interest and journaling my passion, how on earth could I say no?

I couldn’t. At least I didn’t.

So let me tell you what I think about this particular offering from Zondervan to the Bible Reading and Faith Journaling Communities.
