My Arrow and Aim for 2018

This past first day of 2018, I sat with my freshly brewed coffee, open Bible, and journal pondering the year and pages before me.  I had already reconciled the fact that I felt no specific nudging toward a new word for 2018- I was ready to continue walking with my One Word for 2017 (Light)  into this new year. I also realized I was enjoying following the current scripture reading plan I was following, so no need to change that either. More

My Bible Stack (with Videos)

This morning I decided to film a video (Part 1 and 2)  about the Bible Stack under my desk. I have such a close relationship with Scripture as it is the vehicle most often used by the Holy Spirit to teach and guide me into timeless truths.

Review of NIV Holy Bible for Girls, Journal Edition

I have not been choosing to do Book Reviews for awhile now, but recently Julie, at Handlebar, reached out to me about reviewing My Holy Bible for Girls, Journal Edition.

Since the Bible is my main interest and journaling my passion, how on earth could I say no?

I couldn’t. At least I didn’t.

So let me tell you what I think about this particular offering from Zondervan to the Bible Reading and Faith Journaling Communities.

…we must get rid of everything that slows us down, especially sin that distracts us. We must run the race that lies ahead of us and never give up. Hebrews 12:1

Good Morning, Friends. Do you recall on my last post I mentioned I’d written two poems that morning? Well here is the second, based on my meditation and reflection of the readings in Hebrews. A lot really stood out to me, and as you know, every time we read scripture new insights are revealed. This is why we never grow weary reading the same books. If we approach the Word of the Living God with expectation, humility and sincerity, we will hear new things.  I know this is true for me. I pray it is for you too. Our God is an infinite wellspring of inspiration.

Great is His faithfulness!

That’s why it Pumpkins wear it. Well, I am thrilled to have one of the most inspired and inspiring journal keepers you will ever meet here today. Patricia Paterno or Patsy, as she’s known, shares her faith-based journal writing regularly and it blesses many. She is one of the first bloggers I stumbled upon as a new blogger in 2011 and I loved her creative devotional sharing. Patsy continues to inspire from one end of the globe to the other as well as in her home country, the Philippines.
