A poem from my Monday’s morning meditation…

Have a beautiful December!

May these words bless you today-

Full Moon Faith

I am learning…

Lord, I am learning

your grace and goodness

Leaning all I need

to live love

right here

among the loveless,

in a broken, needy, dying

I am learning

to be light in the dark, hard places

where light is extinguished

and many have

lost all hope

I am learning

what it means to be

present to people

and present to God

and in this knowing-

hope does not abandon us

if we cling to it

as one holding out

for the dawn

through the night watches

trusting the sun will rise, tomorrow,

and love is as faithful as

the full moon’s bright glow

the first Sunday of December.
