In light of the day’s current darkness, I am called to be a bearer of light…for my brethren weeping. My heart weeps with you.
May these words offer encouragement. May you know and believe the darkness will never extinguish the Light…
A morning meditation on Revelation 22, for my brethren.
There is a river, there is a tree
12 crops of fruit and leaves of divinity
for the healing of the nations,
for the healing of the nations.
no sun, no lamp, no light at all
But, as God alone, before the Fall
returned to Eden, returned to peace
as each one bows and bends their knees,
as each one bows and bends their knees.
and the river flows through the streets,
the Love of God shines complete
from every face, tribe and tongue-
Jesus unites each and every one
and nothing, not even one,
will stop the reign of The Rising Son.
No, nothing, not even one,
will stop the reign of this Rising Son.
All will know His name as Lord, and kneel before His mighty sword,
truth will reign and love will live- as light prevails and all forgive.
As light prevails and all forgive.
Every tear that’s ever flown, will be forgotten before the throne
joy will replace every doubt and fear
as we rejoice, safe in His care; as we rejoice safe in His care.
Rejoicing with those who’ve gone
before us into eternity’s dawn,
Rejoicing with those who’ve gone
before us into eternity’s dawn.
We’ll embrace them and rejoice, singing together
in heavenly voice, singing together in heavenly voice.
For our saints and soldiers taken now,
we ask you Lord to show us how
to walk these streets as holy ground
and not to cower at hate’s loud sound.
Though darkness permeates our streets, we walk not in these earthly defeats,
for we are a Kingdom unseen and glorious-
our beautiful light shines on victorious.
God’s plan is still in play today,
and nothing will ever stand in its way.
The Kingdom unseen is in our hearts,
and those we love, though they depart
still live on- in eternity’s sight-
though we see not, through this dark night,
though we see not, through this dark night.
Listen, Christian-
The Kingdom is at hand-
and God’s light still shines in this land,
as we wait to see Him clearer, though for now
as in a mirror, soon we’ll see His face and might
and He will extinguish this dark night.
All will glow by the fire of His light,
All will glow by the fire of His light.
To God be the glory, In Jesus’ name. Amen.
Thank you, Dawn. Love wins. Cumulatively though this is getting difficult. However….
Indeed. To God be the glory. Greater is He who is in you, than he who is in the world. 1John4:4
