If God asks that you bend, bend and do not complain. He is making you more flexible, and for this be thankful. ~Terri Guillemets

Welcome!

Today, I am extending an invitation of sorts. A few moments with your pen, paper and quietness as it finds you. Grab your journal, scrap paper or whatever is available.

This morning’s offering was actually written yesterday morning. The Poetry as Pathway Series will be coming by June. God willing. In the meantime I pray these words encourage you today.

I am heading into new territory, I hope you will continue to journey with me.  I will be sharing a few poems as I am led, on writing for the purpose of healing. I may share  poems written during my teen years in conjunction with current ones I am writing now in my fifties.

Here is the first poem for the upcoming series: Poetry (as) Pathway. I encourage you to respond with your own writing, as you feel led.

A poetic offering from my recent weekend in New Hampshire.

If you want to know more about my weekend retreat here, or would like me to write about it in more detail, or do a video coffee chat- I would love too. Leave a comment below.

Meanwhile, I pray this poem I wrote Saturday morning, gives you a glimpse into the beauty I experienced there.

Note: I did share two of my poems on the Saturday evening Talent Show…to keep my fear of public speaking at bay. Onward- for His glory! The poems I shared at the Women’s Retreat (April 28th- 30th) can be read when you click on the linked titles here: Luminary and Anyway .

See my Local Events page for the next public Poetry Reading I will be doing.
