Anyway

May you know that He loves you with an everlasting love, today and always. May you know it, believe it, receive it and let it transform you…because it will. If only you believe…

Anyway

Lord, let me live in this place of grace

 I’ve stumbled upon

If I leave

I fear I should fall

let me stay by the light of your glowing fire

for here, I have found my place,

For here, I have found my place.

Lord, may your plans, not mine prevail,

May your Spirit set the course of my sails…

From this path I travel,

too often I’ve strayed,

and from your will

more than once

I have been swayed.

Still, the One who walks with me,

sets me back on my feet

in this work He has started

and will surely complete.

In Him Victorious,

I’ll know not defeat-

He loves me anyway…

In Him I stand,

and I am complete,

I am complete.

Though I know He loves me,

and will never leave,

I forget in a moment,

and can still be deceived.

I’ve armor, His Spirit

and boatloads of grace,

yet I long for the time

I will look upon His face.

As I wander this earth

distracted, displaced,

I remember His goodness

and ever sweet taste-

and the fact that I’m loved,

right here in this place…

and the fact that I’m loved,

right here in this place,

keeps me rooted in mercy

and grounded in grace.

He loves me, anyway.

Not despite my raging flaws,

Just because.

Lord, let me live in this place of grace

 I’ve stumbled upon

If I leave

I fear I should fall

let  me stay by the light of your glowing fire

for here, I have found my place,

For here, I have found my place.

Oh the tears. This is beautiful and touched me very deeply.
    “As I wander this earth
    distracted, displaced,
    I remember His goodness
    and ever sweet taste-
and the fact that I’m loved,
    right here in this place…”

    Thank you!

Oh, my friend. Grateful that the Lord used these words this night (late night for me!) right when they were needed. He is so good. I meant to get it up this morning but have been busy all day.

“For here, I have found my place.” YES!! Oh to know that I have and will find my place…with Him!

Thank you Dawn for your beautiful words. I was already tearful after reading a little from Ann oskamp’s The Broken Way. I am broken and broken-hearted and your words spoke to my heart. Thank you so much 😊

Thank you Dawn, that was so beautiful and words that I needed to read. I feel a bit dis placed and have for a while. I know where my true inner happiness is but yet I can not seem to feel it. He has not left nor have I left Him but the ” world” has an energy about it right now that is causing great anxiety within me. I am a very empathetic person and there is so much happening that my inner being is so heavy. I pray dear Lord to guide me and direct me that I may have the ears to hear and the eyes to see. May my heart feel the safety of your promise and Love. Amen.

Dawn: My prayer for you is that He keep you close by Him as you go through your days. I like what you say in this poem.

“Boat loads of grace” – what a visual – and then “Still, the One who walks with me,
sets me back on my feet” – Sweet, poignant straight-to-the-heart poetry!
