Three Years – A Spontaneous Poetry Reading

img_4935

This morning I was compelled to write this poem after a friend’s comment about mortality. I am one who contemplates mortality regularly, as well as a plethora of other human dilemmas; but today the words came, as they sometimes do, and I yielded to their arrival capturing their essence on paper, then freeing them with my voice.

I decided to spontaneously read and share, so here you have the words spoken on this You Tube video. I hope you enjoy.

Dawn, I’m in NH. Just listened to Three Years. It’s beautiful. You nailed what was needed. It makes one think. It motivates. Powerful. Inspiring that you share your talent. 😘 Joni Moser
