Gates of Heaven (The King of Glory)

Lift up your heads, O gates!
And be lifted up, O ancient doors,
that the King of glory may come in.
Who is this King of glory?
The Lord, strong and mighty,
the Lord, mighty in battle!
Lift up your heads, O gates!
And lift them up, O ancient doors,
that the King of glory may come in.

Psalm 24: 7-9

Gates of Heaven (The King of Glory)

My God is not

politically correct

nor does He

(yes, HE)

conform to images

constructed by men.

He

(yes, He)

in His fortuitous plan

constructed from nothing

the world and first man.

Regardless of what you construct

in your mind

His wisdom compares to none

you will find.

Deceived by lies

spun from

the beginning of time,

rejecting the truth

leaves one

blind to the sublime.

The Ancient of Days bows to none-

But fools bend their knees

to all they have done…

Instead they should acknowledge

The Bright Morning Star,

Preparing their hearts

right where they are-

for the day will come

and it’s coming soon,

when He (yes, He)

will return,

a light in the darkness,

bright as Hunter’s Moon.

Those under cover by Satan’s decree

will fall and bow down

on bended knee

and He will bring thunder,

set captives free,

but those who love darkness

to their own master will flee

but protection they’ll find,

not with that one,

because it comes alone

from God’s

appointed Son.

Madness will consume

the earth from within,

and the end will come

with the expulsion of sin.

He will storm with His Army

a Heavenly fight,

setting things right-

as planned from the beginning

this one holy sight.

Peace will reign

and pain no more,

for those within

the Heavenly doors.

Open wide the gates of your heart today,

Make way for His Kingdom,

Let the King of Glory

lead The Way!

No tears beyond,

no crying you’ll do-

He’s coming  soon,

This One called Faithful and True…

He’s coming for me,

Is He coming for you?

He

(yes, He)

is the God of all Peace

Blessed Trinity.

Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory!

Selah

Ohhhhhh, my sweet friend, I love this! I absolutely adore it and the beautiful, gifted writer. 🙂 And that you used Psalm 24 as an intro……The Lord spoke to me in a dream a year or two ago and used that scripture to tell me the time is coming soon, to be prepared, to not be caught short. I’d like to share this with the home fellowship I’m part of if you don’t mind.

This is a timely message for me. I am reading the second book by a Messianic Jew who ties the events of our times with a passage in Isaiah. It is very thought provoking. So is your poem.
