A New Garden

If I could go back to the Garden, where it all began

back to the beginning

the very dawn of man

would I in my mind conceive a better plan?

This garden  was created by the hands

of One

with all that was needed

perfectly done.

Lush, rich soil surely did bring

just enough of everything

The woman and man rejected God’s  plan,

banished from the Garden

forever to stand

as reminders of sin and turning from God,

relying on self

really is hard.

God preordained His glorious Son

to shine light and love upon  everyone

Return to the garden

indeed we can,

a glorious new Kingdom

led by

this Son of Man

Love reigns in this Kingdom,

this new Garden to come

grace rains down

not just to some,

but to all those unworthy

wretched, in need

 each hungry soul

he promises to feed

returning his children

to His heavenly claim

rescuing them by the power of His name.

Lisa -Jo shared something rather amazing tonight at our usual meet up. There is this Garden to come in South Africa, and children will be nurtured there and we can all mother from afar with a small donation, because anyway, as far as I see it, mothers plant love wherever a need sprouts up before them. The heart expands, even though miles apart . Check out this wonderful opportunity to care and share. I hope to see you there…

The heart does expand – even miles apart – motherhood teaches us that – doesn’t it? My heart was so small 27 years ago:) I warms that the Holy Spirit rains down, into this soil calling us back to Him – there is that connection to the garden right under our feet – a reminder we are His! love this!
