The best therapy I have ever experienced has come by the lone seaside stroll-
for You are there…
but a reminder
of the immensity of your grace,
the sand granules,
who can count?
The sky is the expanse of your love everlasting,
each stone a memorial to your handiwork-
crashing waves testify to your mighty power,
sun shining or hidden
and it’s right here in this place
that I so clearly see your face,
and am renewed and refreshed
in that still amazing grace.

A very good poem.
Hi Dawn! Oh yes, I love the beach too. Something about all those waves…seems like the reflection of eternity on earth. And I love the wind in my face and blowing my hair. It's like heaven.Beautiful verse today.Ceil
Oh, I feel the same. There is something very therapeutic about being at the ocean shores. I especially like going to sleep to the sound of the ocean waves. When I look out at the ocean, I realize how small and insignificant I am….and how great HE is.
oh i get some good therapy there on the shore of the ocean…i love the rhythm and the motion and life of it…and i def see god in those rhythms that we can strive for….
I love this poem so much….beautifully written. 🙂
Inspiring, Dawn. Thank you.
Sigh. Love. Amen.
It's a clean slate and a way to get new perspective and wash clean.
I like that you ended with “amazing grace.” One of my favorite songs. Have you heard the Judy Collins version? Amazing.
Seasides and beaches are great places to find yourself.
oh i def. think that we see his greatness, power and gentleness in the elements around us…i have a longing for the sea..
You make these things come alive with your verse…thank you.
Best kind of therapy if you can be in the heat. Seasonal changes now is perfect for therapy. You should have a code word, lest you will have a stigma. Even He cannot erase. Humans cannot hold water. Love your background and soundscapes
A beautiful poem. Being by the ocean always helps restore my soul. Blessings to you.
